這天，兩個陌生人有著相同的目的地。為了完成畢業論文，她到聾啞學院去；而他每週末都會回母校去探望那兒的小朋友。

下車後，他和她一前一後地走。她是個“路痴”，常會迷路。來到十字路口，不知該往哪個方向，只好問走在前面的他。

“不好意思，先生……嘿，我在叫你，先生…… 沒禮貌的東西！”追前去攔著他的路：“喂！本小姐在叫你，你沒聽到嗎？”

見他比手划腳地，她心裡暗叫：“天啊！太失禮了，他……他耳聾。”

她不懂手語，唯有掏出筆記本寫出問題。

他禮貌地微笑，寫下了：“我正要去那兒，妳可以跟著我。”

瞧他字體優美工整，應該不會是壞人，她朝他比了個OK的手勢。

準備論文的那半年，他們常在一起。當時，他在另一所聾啞學院工作，為了幫她，他們常結伴回他的母校。不知從何時開始，某種情愫就在雙方心裡暗暗地萌芽了
